Upper Mississippi River House

This residence is Phase 2 of a 5-year renovation by Reno Architecture. The property overlooks the upper reaches of the Mississippi River with views of the railroad; the owners have a passion for trains. Site zoning restrictions dictated the linear design, thus enhancing water views from every room. The design combines traditional Shingle style details with clean European lines and color palette. The home includes 5 bedrooms, a music room and exercise room, and custom wine storage. A bespoke open stair overlooks an indoor sculptural fountain. An outdoor sculpture garden completes the design.
